Abstract
This article examines how to teach Persian prefix verbs to Azeri Turkic speakers through adaptation and confrontation. Because there is no prefix verb in the structure of Azeri Turkish language and this can create questions and problems for the learner, some problems can be solved through this writing. First, the definition of the prefix verb and the three divisions of Persian prefixes in terms of meaning are mentioned, then the verb structure is expressed in both Persian and Azeri Turkish languages. In the following, the structure of Persian and Azeri Turkic languages is explained and briefly about adaptation and confrontation, and the three transitions in the process of learning a foreign language in the mother tongue are mentioned. Then, examples of Persian prefix verbs and translations and their equivalents in Azeri Turkish are given, which often become simple or compound verbs in Azeri Turkish. In the following, the time of verbs in Persian and Azeri Turkish languages and their similarities and differences in these two languages are examined and at the end, a test is performed in which it is proved that the transfer, equivalence and translation of Persian prefix verbs in Azeri Turkish can Be useful and often these prefix verbs become simple or conjunctional verbs in Azeri Turkish; Except when there are slight differences that confuse the learner. The result of this test also shows that in 80% of language learners, this transfer was positive and only in 20% was the transfer negative. Then the general diagram of this test and finally the result of the article are mentioned.
