Abstract
This article deals with the phonetic differences between Persian and Chinese languages and its role in the spelling of Persian words by Chinese language learners. In learning a second language, the smaller the differences between the source and destination languages, the easier it will be for learners to learn a second language. Persian and Chinese languages have many syntactic, lexical, alphabetical and phonetic differences. Recognizing these differences and relying on them can significantly reduce their learning difficulties. The phonetic differences between the two languages have a direct impact on learning to write, pronounce words and hear Chinese learners. If learners become familiar with the correct pronunciation of words in the early stages of language learning, they will be able to write the correct form of words and express them correctly. This article briefly points out the phonetic differences between Chinese and Persian using data obtained from the writings of Chinese language learners. The results of this study can be effective in improving the writing ability of Chinese learners in teaching Persian as a second language, focusing on the direct relationship between phonetic and written form of consonants.
