Abstract

In the collection of Persian language studies, it is very important to pay attention to dictionaries; Because referring to cultures and getting acquainted with the way of providing information that these cultures give to the reader, especially for those whose second language is Persian, makes it easier to use the language. In evaluating dictionaries, many factors are mentioned, the efficiency of each of which has a very important role in promoting culture and lexicography. One of these factors, which has been one of the problems of lexicography from the past to the present, is the "vocabulary pronunciation". In this article, we have examined this criterion in some of the most important Persian language cultures. By comparative and historical study of this fundamental factor, we found that lexicographers, in order to find out the flaws and methods of lexical pronunciation of "Arabicization" and "homogeneity", tried to find a way to eliminate the shortcomings of conventional methods in lexical pronunciation. Reveal the pronunciation of words better and more accurately. Importantly, they have either used both Arabization and homogenization at the same time, or in a few cases innovated. However, they have not been able to eliminate all the flaws in the way words are pronounced. The authors of this article, looking at this great lexicography movement, were able to use the existing methods in the lexical pronunciation of ancient Persian dictionaries to extract a new pronunciation method that, in addition to being comprehensive, can be a suitable alternative to the "phonetic" method and language lexicographers. Make Persian unnecessary from foreign methods.
