Abstract
Education Trustees confront with numerous problems in teaching Persian to non-Persian speakers. One of problems is phonetic errors. The aim of research is to investigate the Vowel errors of Hausa-speaking Nigerian Persian learners and also finding the origin errors. This research method is descriptive. The necessary data has been collected in the field method and in the form of a case study. Necessary Information about these languages (Hausa and Persian) has been obtained through library method. The collected data is from interviews with 21 Hausa speaking females who study at the Jamia Al-Mustafa University in Qom. After identifying the Vowel errors, in order to determine the significance of the errors that occurred for each Vowel, using the SPSS software, the Chi- square test was used. The results show that most errors, belong to the vowels in Hausa phonological system. In other words, the intralanguage factor with 91.13% of errors, is the main cause. the interlanguage factor and Educational errors are also ranked second with 7.47% and the third with 1.38%. The findings show that although the intralanguage factor is the source of many their Vowel errors, the effect of this factor can be reduced with appropriate and more practical methods.
