Abstract

The various developments and changes in society and the two-way relationship between language and society have made interdisciplinary collaborations, especially in the present era, an undeniable necessity, with the growth of technology and the increase in complex human problems and their reflection in the linguistic structure. On the other hand, the traditional perception and attitude towards language learning has caused the creation of the necessary capacities to face the aforementioned developments, especially in the matter of teaching the language to non-Persian speakers, to face new challenges. Accordingly, one of the necessities of teaching Persian to non-Persian speakers in the present era, especially in the last two decades, is the development of interdisciplinary skills in the field of teaching language learners and teachers. In this article, in a descriptive-analytical manner and based on library studies, with a review of the position of interdisciplinary studies at the university level, the necessity of cultivating interdisciplinary thinking in language learners as a prerequisite for understanding and receiving the Persian language and literature with its rich range of concepts has been emphasized.
