Abstract

Today, language teaching is done in various ways and as an academic discipline, it is taught with a completely scientific approach. Language teaching methods vary according to each language learning skill and what methods and tasks are expected of language learners. Today, educational centers and language teachers, using new technologies and a variety of sciences and technologies and presentation methods, try to increase the speed and quality of learning; For this reason, websites and language learning software are very popular. This new method, which can be applied in various sciences and disciplines, is generally known as "e-learning". Persian language as one of the components of Iranian identity and culture needs attention and investment to expand and add its speakers. Taking advantage of the opportunity in the field of technology helps us to introduce and teach Persian language at a lower cost and with very easy methods. In other words, ease and cheapness are two very effective features in e-learning to attract more language learners. The present article, by introducing these new teaching methods, examines the many opportunities that these methods create in the development of Persian language teaching and provides the ground for more familiarity with electronic methods and using their capacity and potential to introduce and promote Persian language. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods are also briefly stated.
